The Kuwait Dive Team of the Environmental Protection Society succeeded installing three marine moorings for the southern Coral Reefs in Bneida coast next to Jaber Al-Kuwait Reefs.

The Team’s Assistant Leader, Waleed Al-Shatti stated this activity is within the comprehensive project of maintaining and installing marine moorings in the Coral Reefs locations for environmental protection.

Al-Shatti clarified that these moorings need more efforts exerted by voluntary activity groups with the Kuwait Dive Team for their continuous usage of boats and yachts in addition to other sea factors.

The coral complexes to the south of Bneida are of the most beautiful reefs where the water depths are eight to nine metres and it is noted that there is a significant increase in marine life after establishing the nearby Jaber Al-Kuwait Reefs.
