The Dive Team, Environmental Protection Society completed installing 8 new marine moorings in Bneida Reefs to the south of Geleea Area.

The Operation In-Charge, Faisal Al-Harban stated that this project is within the Team’s efforts towards protecting the Kuwaiti environment and it succeeded in installing eight new moorings to protect Bneida Coral Reefs.

The Bneida Area (traditionally called Dohat Al-Zarq) is one of the marine areas distinguished with diversity of Coral Reefs that are established as settlements, in which many solid and mollusk corals are formed, around which red signs were installed at surface level due to its risk on marine navigation.
