The Team had completed removing fishing nets from Arefjan Coral Reefs located to the south of Kuwait Sea, stated Ahmed Al-Damkhy, In-Charge of Marine Operations with the Kuwait Dive Team in the Environmental Protection Society.

The Team's Divers succeeded in removing fishing nets stuck to Coral Reefs and rescuing sea creatures after performing a survey of Coral Reef locations and the degree of being influenced by continuous environmental violations committed by some fishermen and sea-farers, Al-Damkhy clarified.

Al-Damkhy hoped for continued success of attempts protecting Coral Reefs against any risks in order to maintain the marine environment.
